BIKRAM YOGA AND POWER FLOW
The style of yoga we teach at Gladwyne Yoga is Bikram Yoga .
These styles provide a challenging, exciting and effective workout, designed to work the whole body from the inside out. Every muscle, joint, ligament, tendon and organ in the body can receive benefit from these classes.
All classes are designed for every level: first time students and experienced students alike. Each class brings students along in a nurturing way with lots of individual attention.
Whether you are looking for a great workout, or to reduce the symptoms of a long-term or new injury, these classes are for you!
We heat the room, so be prepared to work hard and sweat. These styles of yoga can improve flexibility, increase circulation and reduce stress. They also will tone the muscles and realign the skeletal system.
Bring a large towel, bottle of water and washcloth. Come to class with an empty stomach and an open mind.
Preparing for Bikram Yoga:
• Classes are 90 minutes.
• Yoga room is a heated environment.
• Bring water or buy it at the studio.
• Come on an empty stomach.
No food 2-4 hrs before class
• Wear light workout clothing.
Be prepare to sweat.
